| Description | Rhythm, Dance and Artistic Development: As children develop emotionally it is important to encourage them to freely express themselves without being limited or ashamed of their expressions, but be encouraged and guided by artistic means. In our methods we do not use a premeditated set of movements and steps, but rather encourage children to become artists and “paint” the world they imagine through their own rhythmic movements. During our classes children will be exposed to various forms of artistic compositions – folk and classical music, poetry and literary works. While listening to the poems, stories, songs or simply musical sounds they will be encouraged to express their internal emotional interpretation of these works through dance and movements. Such exercises develop children’s ability to deeply understand subjects like literature, music and art. They will broaden your child’s knowledge, make him/her better rounded and develop his/her sense of rhythm. Most importantly, our lessons will help your child to become more confident and assured that their own emotional interpretation is unique and is worth to be expressed.
