What personal data we collect and why we collect it

If you create an ad or listing, we collect the information you give us, which may include your name, title, photos, phone numbers, fax number, email address, business name and address, business description and url, Skype name, URLs for your: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Google Plus, Pinterest and Vimeo; business listing price, and details about your business that you want to share on your listing.

If you send a message to someone who listed an ad or a business, your email address will be sent to the business owner or broker so they can respond to you.

How we use your data

The information (when given) is used on our website in order to help connect people wanting to find a business.

Your email address is used to contact you regarding your listings , to alert you if you set up email alerts, to send you messages from potential customers, and to let you know of site changes, promotions or other relevant information.

We take privacy very seriously. When you register to use this website your information will NEVER be sold, leased or given to any third parties. We will never use it for any reasons except to respond to your inquiries. The software will however send automatic emails to inform you of various things such as ad expiration etc.

When providing information such as email addresses or phone numbers to payment processors like Stripe or PayPal your information is sent only to them and you should check with their policies on their respective websites for data use policies.

If you contact us for any reason, your personal information will never be used by us for any purpose other than answering your questions or responding to requests, and it will not be sold, leased or given to any other parties.

If someone contacts you for a listing you posted via the form on this website and if you choose to respond to their request by email, your email address will be revealed as it would in any normal email message.

Ads

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to sites and/or other sites on the Internet you visit.
